So woke at 06.00 and knew it was due to rain at midday. So decided to just leave ASAP. Departed the hostel at 06.45 and there was rain in the air but not yet raining. It was also pitch black as sunrise was not until 07.30.
After we cleared the town, we, as in pilgrims, were in darkness, with a little ambient light. It was dark but there was just enough light to just the path and torches to check the signs.
At about 3 km in I came across this bar, there are loads of them are which are all geared towards Pilgrims.
While on the Del Norte all the coffee shops and bars are mainly for locals and Spanish tourists.
It was now starting to get light. There was a constant threat of rain.
Definitely rain in the distance!

Finlay made it to Pedrouzo in 4hr08 and 20.1km with 10min stop for coffee. ☕️ so pretty good pace 🏃♂️

So less than 20km to go to Santiago de Compostela, can’t believe it. Part of me wanted to batter on today but there is no rush. Just chilled and had an omelet and cheeses sandwich with a cafe con leche.
