Well early start at 4.45 lift to Gatwick for 6.50 flight, thanks Penny. Cleared security in record time it only took 8 minutes. I was praying that it would go down the naughty lane. As there was only room for on more item and I estimate it would have taken 30 minutes, flight half empty and caught the 10.45 bus directly outside the airport and was 1hr10 to San Sebastián.
Drop bag at hostel and got essential liquids toothpaste, sun cream and Vaseline(essential for hiking). Weather was beautiful, actually it is too warm for hiking tomorrow 29c.
Accomodation is compact.
